Privacy Policy

This policy covers the BallTrials game and this website. It is written to be read, not to be survived. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will fix the wording.
The short version
You can play without giving us anything. We do not sell your data, we do not show ads, and we do not track you around the internet. What we store is your game: your progress, your balls and your results. You can have all of it deleted whenever you want.
Playing without an account
You can open the game and play immediately. We create an anonymous player on our server so your progress survives a refresh. It is not linked to your name or your email — only to that one browser. If you clear your browser data, that progress is gone.
If you create an account
An account exists so you can play on more than one device and not lose everything if you lose your phone. You can create one in three ways, and each one gives us something different:
- Email and password. We store your email address. We never see your password: it reaches our provider already scrambled.
- Continue with Google. Google tells us your email address and your name.
- Continue with Facebook. Facebook tells us your email address, your name and your profile picture. We do not post anything to Facebook, ever, and we do not read your friends, your posts or anything else.
Your email address is used for one thing: to know that the account is yours and to let you back in.
What the game stores
- Your player name, level and experience.
- Your settings (language, sound).
- Your balls: which ones you own, their level and their trophies.
- Your matches: the mode, the result and where you finished.
- Your in-game currency and what you spent it on.
If you buy something, our payment provider handles the payment and we keep the record of it. We never see or store your card details.
Who else sees it
Nobody buys it from us, because we do not sell it. The companies that help us run the game can technically reach it, and only for that:
- Supabase — stores the accounts and the game data.
- Hostinger — serves this website and the game.
- Google and Meta — only if you choose to sign in with them.
Children
BallTrials is made to be safe for children, and much of the game is built around that: you can play the whole thing without an account, without a name and without giving us an email.
Facebook and Google do not allow accounts for under-13s, so those two buttons are not a way in for younger players — the normal way in is, and it asks for nothing.
If you are a parent and you believe your child has given us something you would rather they had not, write to contact@balltrials.com and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Deletion has its own page, because it is the one people actually want: how to delete your data. For anything else, write to contact@balltrials.com.
Changes
When the game gains a feature that changes any of this, we update this page and change the date at the top. Big changes get announced inside the game.
