BallTrials is a free 3D marble game you play in your web browser, on a phone or a computer, with nothing to download and no account needed to start. You pick a marble and play five trials against computer-controlled marbles, each with its own way to win: The Great Race, The Hunter, Red Light, The Carousel and Lava Run.

The trials

The Great Race: Roll down and reach the finish before anyone else.
The Hunter: Dodge the hunter. Last ball standing wins.
Red Light: Run on green, freeze on red. Get caught moving and you are out.
The Carousel: Stay on the spinning plate. Hold the button to pull yourself back in — it burns fuel.
Lava Run: Outrun the lava and reach the cave. Last one there is lava.

Facts

Price: Free, with no ads and nothing to buy with real money. Nothing in BallTrials is sold for real money. Gems and coins are both earned by playing: weekly challenges, the Island and the Battle Pass, whose premium track is open to everyone. They buy balls and cosmetics, and coins also buy extra uses of the in-match boosters; the strongest balls are unlocked by playing, there are no loot boxes, the first use of every booster button is free in every run, for the bots too, and the super move is never sold.
Platform: Any modern web browser, on a phone, a tablet or a computer. Nothing to download or install; it can also be added to the home screen as a web app.
Players: Single player. Every trial is played against computer-controlled marbles; it is not online multiplayer.
Who makes it: BallTrials is made by one person, Jaime Valls Vigil, and started as a game for Jaime's son, who loves ball games. It was built by experimenting with AI, one trial at a time, and anyone is welcome to play it. Feedback goes to contact@balltrials.com; if people enjoy the game, work on it continues.
